It was the last good one, until Embryonic. If you haven't heard that one, you should.
Call me unwilling to have my envelope pushed any more by "edgy" music. Call me irresponsible. Call me old. But yeah, the Lips albums I return to (and that infrequently) are the ones with the *nice tunes*. "Embryonic" is fine if you want to demonstrate your solidarity with the Lips' deconstructionista stance on corporate rock, and impress your friends with your savvy indie chops.

i'm all for envelope pushing but man, i found embryonic un-listenable. i know people will hate me for saying that but...
