Achim Reichel needs no introduction to you kraut heads out there. For those unfamiliar, A.R. was the frontman for the 1960's beat group The Rattles before going off on his own and starting the psychedelic and wonderful A. R. & Machines who released a number of excellent albums throughout the 70's and 80's. Echo, an outstanding double album released in 1972 fully showcases his outstanding guitar playing and compositon. Klaus Shulze is even credited with contributing some vocals! Highly highly recommended.

Thank you for posting this album, which I hopefully can listen to sometime in 2012, because there is so much music to digest out there and though I ain't a dad yet, each day still only has 24 hours :-)
i considered myself a kraut head but i haven't heard of this band. im gonna search-out their first album. Thanks man!
