Mountain Cult - EP [2011]

Mountain Cult are a relatively new band who play some heavy ass psychedelic blues-punk reminiscent of early Pussy Galore. They are releasing their first 7" EP in December and it rocks.

They are having a record release show for the EP on 12/14/11 at Pianos in NYC with Necking, Hag Syndrome and Advaita!

Bio:

Mountain Cult started jamming in February. Maria had just moved from japan, DD never played drums before and Ben acquired a fuzz face. The Stooges, Cream, and Velvet Underground are big influences. They've opened for Royal Baths, X-ray Eyeballs, The Boom Bang, Easter Vomit, and Queening. Their first EP, recorded on an old 4 track, straddles the line between fuzzed out blues and punk.

Mountain Cult also loves to do interviews, etc.
